Here are some of the frequently asked questions about the society.

When is the next rehearsal?
Our next meeting is Wednesday 16th May at 7:15pm at Southam - Tech. rehearsal

When and where do you meet?
We meet most Tuesday evening from 7:30 to 9:30pm at The Great Meeting House, Holyhead Road, Coundon, Coventry, CV1 3AE  -   see map.

What sort of music do you sing?
We sing a very diverse range of music from Gilbert and Sullivan (for which we are best known) to Nursary Rhymes; though Handel, ABBA, Queen, Bizet, The Beatles, Haydn, Strauß, ... We also sing music from well known shows such as Les Misérables, West Side Story, Show Boat, Cabaret, Chicago to name but a few.

When and Where do you perform?
We perform at a number of venues in and around Coventry and Warwickshire. Giving several smaller concerts and one major show during the year at venues in Coventry, Atherstone and Southam.
Do you have to read music?
Whilst it is naturally beneficial, it is certainly not necessary! We have several members, (many of whom perform solos) who do not read music in any way.

Will I get an opportunity to sing a solo part?
All paid-up members of the society are welcome to audition for a solo part in any of our shows or concerts and there are no established 'main soloists'.

Do I have to audition for the chorus?
We do try to achieve as high a standard as possible but at the moment we are not asking people to have a formal audition, just come along and see if it is for you.
